Blue
Tornado made its reputation with our 2 HP and 3 HP units but for the last
5 years has been steadily gaining ground in the market of larger units. We offer
3 “off the shelf” systems in the commercial sizes. This allows for
production capable Dust Management at smaller shop economies.
BTC 105 – A system for the 7-12 man shop with moderate production equipment. Also great as a stand alone system for a larger sanding surfacer such as a 48” Time Saver© , multi-head molder, etc. 10” inlet, 2265 CFM @ 8” ws.
BTC 110 – Up to 20 man shop with serious equipment, CNC routers, etc. This system is also ideal for assembly line work with multiple sanding, molding, gang rip operations and very large planers. 12” inlet, 3325 CFM @ 8” ws. Comes standard with vortex breaker.
BTC 125 – A medium factory oriented system, utilizing a 16” inlet, 25HP blower and external baghouse design. This system is a terrific value, not only low initial cost, but low maintenance costs too. Frequently used with rotary air lock (sold separately). 5820 CFM @ 11” ws.
Custom built cyclone systems
Some customers require specialized systems, such as stainless steel cyclones for the food industry. We also have a great deal of familiarity with the needs of the plain communities. Line shaft, gasoline and hydraulic systems are easily and frequently made.

Engineering/ Shop layout
One of the major advantages of doing business with Blue
Tornado Cyclones is that we are eager to help you layout a plan to
incorporate duct work that will work with you, not be an obstacle to you. As
woodworkers ourselves we understand the need to have a shop that is well thought
out in terms of work flow as well as air flow. Let us send you a
shop layout packet.
Once you complete and return the packet to us, we will create a duct work layout which utilizes the best engineering practices while honoring your specific wishes for your shop. Use the ductwork layout to install this system yourself. We also provide you with clear and concise expert support by phone.
For those who desire, we also have on-site installation teams. This is an excellent option for schools, businesses and other institutions requiring professional time-critical installation.
